Sapera LT Installation

NOTE
To install Sapera LT and the GigE Vision package, log on as an administrator or with an account that has administrator privileges.

What to Install?

• For Sapera application development, install Sapera LT 8.7 SDK (or later), which provides GigE Vision support and everything needed to control the camera and develop imaging applications.

• If no Sapera application development is required, install the Sapera LT runtime with CamExpert, which provides GigE Vision support and everything needed to control the camera.

To Install Sapera LT

1. Download Sapera LT 8.70 (or later) SDK or runtime, from the Teledyne Vision Solutions website.

2. Start the installer and follow instructions.

3. In the Sapera LT Acquisition Components page of the installer, select option for GigE Vision cameras and frame grabbers.

You will need to restart your computer after installation of Sapera LT. Refer to Sapera LT User’s Manual concerning application development with Sapera.

CAMEXPERT
The Teledyne DALSA Sapera CamExpert tool (used throughout this manual to describe the camera features) is installed with the Sapera LT runtime with CamExpert or with the Sapera LT SDK development package.
