GigE Vision®

Genie Nano 10G cameras are 100% compliant with the GigE Vision 2.0 specification, which defines the communication interface protocol used by any GigE Vision device. The device description and capabilities are contained in an XML description file embedded within the Nano 10G firmware, allowing GigE Vision compliant applications access to the camera capabilities and controls.

GenICam™

The camera is GenICam compliant and implements a superset of the GenICam Standard Features Naming Convention (SFNC) specification 1.5.

This description takes the form of an XML device description file using the syntax defined by the GenApi module of the GenICam specification. The camera uses the GenICam Generic Control Protocol (GenCP 1.0) to communicate over the Camera Link HS command lane.
